LTK Auto-Draft: What LTK's New AI Does for Creators

LTK Auto-Draft, launched 6 October 2026, turns iPhone photos into draft LTK posts with captions and product tags. Who can use it, and what to check first.

LTK Auto-Draft: What LTK's New AI Does for Creators

LTK Auto-Draft is an AI feature LTK launched on 6 October 2026 that builds the starting point of an LTK post from your photos. It writes caption copy based on your existing voice on LTK and suggests products to tag. You pick the tone, edit every element and confirm the products before anything goes live. It runs only on iPhones that support Apple Intelligence on iOS 27.

It’s LTK’s second AI launch in two weeks. On 24 September, LTK announced a new Search tab in the LTK app that combines interest-based discovery, AI search overviews and LTK AI, its conversational assistant (shopltk.com, September 2026). One launch helps you make posts faster. The other changes how shoppers find them.

This guide covers what Auto-Draft does, who can use it, how to use it in Q4, where AI drafting costs affiliate income, and what both launches say about where recommendations get found.

Key Takeaways

  • Auto-Draft writes the first version, you publish the final one. You choose tones, edit every element and confirm suggested products (shopltk.com, October 2026).
  • Eligibility is narrow. You need an iPhone that supports Apple Intelligence, running iOS 27. The release does not mention Android.
  • Product tags are where the money is. A wrong shade, size or retailer can cost you the click or the sale.
  • Disclosure stays your job. The FTC warns against relying on a platform’s disclosure tool alone.
  • Search and AI now surface creator posts. LTK reports product click-outs from search to retailer websites up 84% since its new Search experience launched (shopltk.com, September 2026).

What is LTK Auto-Draft and how does it work?

LTK Auto-Draft is a drafting assistant inside the LTK Creator app. You give it a photo, and it returns a draft post: caption copy written from the content and your existing voice on LTK, plus suggested products to tag. LTK describes the result as a starting point. Nothing publishes until you review the draft and decide what goes out and when.

A draft can start in three places: inside the LTK Creator app, from the Apple Photos app, or by asking Siri. LTK’s example prompt is “Siri, start a draft post on LTK with the last photo I took” (shopltk.com, October 2026). The release went out the same day through Business Wire (financialcontent.com, October 2026).

LTK says drafts sound like you because it uses your previous posts to understand your voice, and that caption generation runs on an on-device Apple model, locally on the phone. If a caption misses, switch tone and generate new options instead of rewriting from scratch.

Who can use Auto-Draft, and on which iPhones?

Auto-Draft is available to LTK creators with an iPhone that supports Apple Intelligence, running iOS 27. That’s the whole eligibility statement in LTK’s release. It names only iPhone, gives no timeline for other devices, and says nothing about Android, commissions or payouts. Plan Q4 around the phone you have today.

Apple lists Apple Intelligence as available on iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max and iPhone 16 models or later, on iOS 27 (support.apple.com, October 2026). The same page lists a storage requirement and asks for your device language and Siri language to match a supported language.

How do you use Auto-Draft well during Q4?

Use Auto-Draft to cut the time between taking a photo and having a post ready, then spend the saved minutes on checks. The draft is the fast part. The tags, the first line of the caption and the disclosure are where your judgement still decides whether the post earns anything.

Five habits make the difference:

  • Shoot for the tagger. A clear, well-lit photo of the actual item, label and colour visible, gives any product matcher less to guess.
  • Draft in the moment, publish on schedule. Start a draft from Photos or Siri right after the shoot, then finish it when you sit down to post.
  • Generate two or three tones, then merge. Keep the line that sounds like you and cut the rest.
  • Rewrite the first line yourself. It is the line a shopper reads before deciding to tap.
  • Build a backlog before the peak weeks. Drafts made before Black Friday mean you’re editing, not starting from zero, when the deals drop.

Where does AI drafting go wrong for affiliate income?

AI drafting goes wrong in three places that cost money: a product tag that points to the wrong item or variant, a caption that drifts into generic copy, and a missing or buried disclosure. Each one looks fine at a glance, which is why they slip through when you’re posting fast in Q4.

The wrong product or variant

A shopper taps a tag expecting the exact item in the photo. If the suggestion is a lookalike, the wrong shade or a different size run, they bounce or buy something that comes back as a return. Confirm the item, colour, size, retailer and stock on every tag.

A voice that drifts generic

LTK uses your previous posts to understand your voice, so drafts can only be as distinctive as that archive. Add the detail only you know: how it fits, what you paired it with, why you bought it.

Watch for invented experience too. The FTC is blunt: “You can’t talk about your experience with a product you haven’t tried” (ftc.gov, October 2026). Delete any line that claims more than you have done.

Disclosure

LTK’s release does not say whether drafts include a disclosure, so add your own every time. The FTC says to place it with the endorsement, keep it out of a cluster of hashtags or links, and not assume a platform’s disclosure tool is good enough on its own.

The pre-publish checklist in one place:

What Auto-Draft gives youWhat you check before publishing
Caption copy in your LTK voiceThe first line is yours, every claim is true, nothing untried is described as tried
Tone optionsOne tone, consistent with the rest of your posts
Suggested product tagsExact item, colour, size, retailer and stock on each tag
A draft started from Photos, Siri or the appThe photo shows the products clearly and matches the tags
A starting point you controlA clear disclosure placed with the post, and a publish time you chose

What do LTK’s two AI launches say about where shoppers find recommendations?

They point to discovery moving from scrolling a feed toward searching and asking. In two weeks LTK added AI for shoppers and for creators: search and an assistant on one side, a drafting tool on the other. When search and AI answers sit between shoppers and your posts, your captions and tags become the material those systems work from.

LTK also reports creator-profile views from search up nearly 50% and daily LTK AI users up 89% month over month, and says the experience draws on recommendations from more than 500,000 vetted creators (shopltk.com, September 2026). The 6 October release puts LTK at $6 billion in annual retail sales, more than 8,000 retailers and 44 million+ monthly users. These are LTK’s own figures.

The Auto-Draft release also notes that in 2025 LTK integrated creator content into Apple Intelligence-powered visual shopping, so people using Visual Intelligence can discover products through LTK creators’ recommendations. Where does your own page fit next to an LTK shop?

Your LTK shop serves shoppers inside LTK. Your bio page serves everyone else: the TikTok viewer, the YouTube subscriber, the newsletter reader and the AI assistant asked what a creator recommends. Run both. Link your LTK shop from the page, and keep your top picks there too, so they reach people who never open the LTK app.

That page has to be readable by machines as well as people. A More. You page turns product blocks into Product and Offer structured data and ships an llms.txt file, a plain-text summary AI assistants can read. AI visibility analytics show which AI crawlers read the page, counted separately from human views, and attribution ties clicks back to the post that drove them.

The markup side is covered in structured data for creator pages, and the wider idea in what an AI-native link in bio means. Weighing LTK against other storefronts? See our comparison of ShopMy, LTK and Amazon.

Auto-Draft gets the post written faster. Your recommendations also deserve a home you control, readable by people and by AI. Create your More. You page and put your picks where both can find them.
