Set it before the moment, not during it

Any block takes a Goes live time, a Stops showing time, or just one of the two. Set them the night before and the page changes itself while you are busy making the thing you are launching.

Made for windows that close

Ticket sales, pre-orders, limited drops and seasonal hours all end. Once a block is past its stop time it is filtered out before the page is built, so nothing on your page points at something that is over.

Auto-Pin pins a link when your post goes live. Tell Auto-Pin to remove a pin after 24 hours, 3 days or 7 days, and it writes that moment into the same Stops showing field, where you can see it, change it or clear it yourself.

How link scheduling works

Link scheduling gives a block a go-live time and a stop time, so your page adds and removes it without you opening the editor at that moment.

Open Power ups, pick Schedule link

Every block has a Power ups tab, and Schedule link is the first row. Its chip says what the current window is doing: Scheduled, Live until a date, or Expired.

Set the two times

Fill in Goes live, Stops showing, or one of them. Times are read in your browser's time zone, and a stop time at or before the start is refused on the spot.

Frequently asked questions

What is link scheduling?

Every block on your More.You page has a Schedule link power-up with two fields, Goes live and Stops showing. Set either one or both, and your page starts and stops showing that block on its own.

Can one block have more than one window?

No. A block carries a single Goes live time and a single Stops showing time. If you want the same link back later, set a new window on it when you want it again.

Which time zone do the times use?

The times you pick are read in your browser's time zone, and the panel names that zone under the fields. They are stored as UTC, so the block turns over at the moment you meant wherever your visitors are.

What do visitors see outside the window?

Nothing at all. A block outside its window is filtered out before the page is built, so it is absent rather than hidden, its tracked link stops resolving, and the times themselves never reach the public page.

Do I need a paid plan to schedule a block?

No. Link scheduling works on every plan, the free one included. Audience rules, which show or hide a block by country or by the app a visitor arrived from, are the power-up that needs a paid plan.

What if I set Stops showing before Goes live?

The editor refuses the pair and tells you that Stops showing must be after Goes live, keeping what you typed on screen so you can correct it. It checks both fields, so you get the same answer whichever one you edited.
